“Great evening, very well organized. The Sami guides Ulle and Inga were very nice and enthusiastic about showing us their culture, it was very informative. The reindeers were very cute, the food (salmon salad, reindeer stew and chocolate cake) very delicious, the fire very warm which we needed because outside it was freezing cold! But we got lucky and got the most beautiful Nothtern Lights during the whole evening, so of course that made it exceptionally special, but I guess without that it could’ve been still a lovely experience!”

Cons: The car they transported us with had an unpleasant smell (especially that we had to drive around for a long time). No fire or source of heat while waiting around for the Northern Lights. Though they provided us with overalls that kept us relatively warm - there was a lot of waiting in the breezy cold outside without a fire.”

Very friendly and humorous, cracking jokes along the way. Last but not least THE FOOD TRUCK!!! Emilie’s special 50:50 reindeer and moose steak and panini was FIRE. “Honestly, I did not like this cruise and felt it was a waste of money. We paid close to $400 ISD. only to go about a mile to a mile and a half into the bay. We had to purchase wine separately, which I understand, but the food was not up to the par. The fish dish was very basic with mediocre plating. We were all hoping and expecting to see the Northern Lights, but the experience was nothing like what was advertised. I would not recommend this cruise—please don’t waste your money. That said, the crew was very polite and genuinely nice.”

After a while, clouds were moving in and we quickly packed up the camp to drive to a second spot with clear skies where we enjoyed hot drinks on a frozen lake! Absolutely wonderful experience, despite the Northern lights activity not being too high but we could observe the light version throughout the entire evening…”
